PROJECT: Migration from 3DExperience Custom Type to OOTB Type

Customer: Major US based Manufacturer through Dassault Systems, NA.

Software: 3DExperience 2018x, 2015x (CATIA, ENOVIA)

Project Description:
• This project is for an US based fast-consumed goods manufacturing major migrating from 3DExperience 2015x to 2018x. The project scope involves Data Model Customization and Object Behavior control of the 3DExperience Platform.
• Creation of Data Model for 3DExperience Platform with custom type, customer and deployment extension, attributes, business logic using EKL and policies.
• Creation of CAT Scripts and Business Logic for control of 3DExperience Platform object, automatic addition and restriction of the different extensions.
• Creation of business logic, to synchronize EBOM in ENOVIA with Product Structure in CATIA, object’s attributes validation at the time of object create, update and save operation.

Responsibilities:
• Requirement gathering from Client and implementing the solutions.
• Support for 3DExperience Apps like Part Design, Drafting and Component Family and support for migration of data to latest version of 3D Experience.
• Creating and Executing Business Rules from both Client and Server side on CATIA using EKL
• Creating and Maintaining Specialized Data Type (KWD) in CATIA Unified Typing with custom attributes.
• Mapping Objects with custom policies created with custom life cycle states.
• Customizing CATIA client based on P&O (People and Organization) and Context.
• Managing Enovia V6 Server and managing users and access rights and other administration activities using Business, Matrix and MQL.
• Creating Custom Title Blocks and Revision Table using CAT Scripts and Engineering Templates
• Showcasing demos to Clients, managing deliverables, creating deployment document and User manuals.
