Tätigkeitsbeschreibung
DPDHL is split into 6 discrete business units and I’ve been a part of DHL Express (small packages and mail, also the most profitable BU) and Corporate Center, overlooking the global push of digital marketing efforts.
In my role with DHL, I’ve worked with the following parts of the marketing stack,
• Paid and organic media
• Email Marketing
• Social (listening and publishing)
• Content marketing
• CMS/Landing page managers
• Web Analytics
• Dashboards and reporting
Leveraging this, I’ve had my fingers in quite some jars. My responsibilities included,
• Managing a team of 3 members to support marketing operations
• Ideation and deployment to support sales. This includes global campaigns run by the central sales team and also supporting the decentralized marketing and sales structure.
• GDPR responsible for marketing
• Agency management (negotiating budgets, SLAs, coordination around frame agreements, CPAs etc.)
• Coordinating cross BU for better alignment
In the past, I’ve also worked on the following,
• Brand governance
• Supporting content creation and localization through agencies
• Training regional and country teams
• Working on customer personas and user journeys
• Managing EU regional and global marketing communications
Starting 2017, I had been working on a marketing transformation project in a push towards omni channel. The goal being to bring Sales and Marketing closer and build a strong foundation for a single customer view. The project will leverage this and bring about automation capabilities for the marketing organization.
I am the marketing business lead in the project team and have worked through,
• Discovery and regional requirements gathering
• Procurement process (RFI, RFP, Proof of concept)
• Pilot and extended pilot
• Roll out preparedness (current stage of the project in 2020)
