 Installation and configuration of Oracle 9i ,10g, 11g ,12c database and RAC setups in AIX, Linux and Windows Platforms
 Performing RMAN backups of full database, Incremental backups and archive logs.
 Monitoring databases using OEM 12C and adding/removing nodes in OEM.
 User administration – roles, privileges, security, backup and restoration activities

 Administering ASM instances , adding , rebalancing disks in event of Space Crunch
 Doing Structural modifications of tables based on the requirements & usage, Manage changes of database triggers, procedures & functions, Defining indexes on tables based on the relationship and queries defined as per the procedures provided by the Bank / Application vendor
 Purging data in production tables on Weekly and Monthly Frequencies to control database growth
 Compressing tables in Hist database using OLTP Advances Compression techniques
 Configuration of LISTENER and TNSNAMES & Troubleshooting
 Troubleshooting and preparing Root Cause Analysis for major Production database issues
 Rolling Forward standby databases using incremental backup strategy to resolve archive log backlog issues
 Cloning databases for development environment using RMAN backup, restoration and duplicate database techniques.
 Creating ACFS file systems for string Non-db files and for Golden gate configurations.
 Having hands on experience in Golden gate technology and monitoring.
 Performing daily Stage backups for application team.
 Performance tuning and Security Management (access privileges)
 Table space management by adding data files in ASM and Raw file systems
 Removing fragmentation from tables by table movement, table shrink and export methods
 Proactive monitoring of alert log and user trace files for identification of ORA-errors
 Raising Service request with Oracle Corporation and providing requested data for analysis.
 Gathering Schema level statistics and Table level statistics using DBMS_STATS package.
 Checking the data file consistency using DB verify utility
 Backups and Tapes handling using Tivoli Storage Manager.
 Performing Database backup and recovery in Microsoft SQL database server
