Über mich
During my time by ALSTOM/GE, I was invalided in blade cooling channels optimization project, which has had focus on workflow definition. The project was executed in collaboration with software vendors i.e. Altair and ANSYS. I run CHT simulation using Acusolve Altair software. I used topology optimization (Optistruct) to define machining locations for turbine blades after casting (NCR - non-conformance report). Beside that,
I have collaborated with GEONX SA on weld buildup simulation (melting, heat treatment, residual stresses). My last project by GE was related to evaluation of remaining lifetime for entire ALSTOM Gas turbine fleet with more than 40 years in operation. I have applied probabilistic lifetime assessment methodology with Monte Carlo simulations to calculate crack initiation and crack propagation. I have calculated failure rate for lifetime limited components and evaluated remaining lifetime.
