Recruited to manage multiple parallel IT projects and programs for key business areas within Vodafone to enable them to deliver revenue generating applications and services to Enterprise level Corporate customers worldwide.
• Successfully delivered a €50m+ program of 30+ projects over 4 years for the Vodafone Group Enterprise business to create, manage and maintain web-portal based applications which allowed Corporate Global customers to manage their telecommunications contracts with Vodafone, allowing them to identify €millions in saving per year. This was achieved by coordinating multiple disciplines (network design and build, software development, infrastructure design and build) across the Americas, Europe and the Middle East.
• Asked by Vodafone management to take over a Big Data program in order to bring it back on track to deliver the Business Case on time as committed to the Vodafone Board of Directors. Successfully restructured and reorganised the multitude of technical and business teams which resulted in the program being able to deliver the €200m infrastructure platform to original schedule and the business platform on time for release to country markets to build on for new sales generation within a total period of 6 months.

Successfully delivered the company’s first Global IT program to standardise and uplift the entire corporate back-end infrastructure and user front end by managing a globally dispersed team of 100+ technical engineers, designers and architects across 4 continents and multiple cultures with a total budget accountability of $20M
• Introduced a new global standard operating system to 35,000+ users worldwide based on Windows 7 and Office 2010 by facilitating and coordinating global collaboration on design, build and distribution mechanisms
• Rationalized 7000 global applications to 1600 and setup a testing and packaging factory, packaging over 80% of all global applications for automated delivery, saving an estimated $20M globally in licencing and deskside services
• Delivered a global PC hardware replacement contract to replace all other hardware contracts by orchestrating a supplier tendering process with internationally recognised manufacturers such as Dell, IBM and HP, saving $5m+ per year in failures and new services

• Managed internationally dispersed teams in Milan, Netherlands, UK and Prague on multi-million euro projects (€5m+)
• Day to day management of projects tracking issues, risks, progress on plans, creating Exception plans where required, liaising with the various management teams and stakeholder teams, running weekly project team meetings, reporting to Change Advisory Boards and User Boards and reporting on progress using weekly Highlight Reporting techniques to the Project Sponsor / Project Board
• Building and gathering of cost estimations, including ongoing operating and business depreciation costs for input into Business Cases
• Responsible for the migration of local in-country datacentres to a regional datacentre in Prague
