Inventor and architect of a unique monitoring and reporting product for IBM's core backup product IBM Spectrum Protect - Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM). The product is in production for all IBM customers located in Austria, Switzerland as well as some in the UK and Germany reporting on approximately four thousand backup a day. The product is an expert system applying previous “lessons learned” control checks from previous disaster situations. Uniquely the product basis it's data source on the client and not the server which means valuable detailed data can be harnessed and utilised to ascertain "true" backup status.
