Datacenter Migration fo Management for BI-Applications
Solution design in new data center for more then 50 + BI Applications (Sizing, architecture, access and authorization)
Convert the solution from 1 tier architecture to 3 tier architecture
Convert the infrastructure from Physical to Virtual (VM commodity ESXI)
Upgrade each application's BI component to latest MSBI version (MSSQL-2017)
Act as bridge between three parties, Henkel, new service provider and old service provider.
Planning for complete 50 applications with update and migration cycle.

Yearly approx. invoice amount is 20 M.

o AS the scope of the project was huge this project was divided in the multiple small projects. I was responsible for one tower.
o Responsible for the creating the project plans and approving these plans from the customer as well as from internal teams.
o Applications incudes 3rd Party applications, hence responsible for the Vendor co-ordinations as well as execute the migration with the help of 3rd parties in the timely manner.
o Need to understand the complex architecture of the applications and co-ordinate and execute migrations with the help of cross domain teams.
o At end we as team were successful able to migrate the entire IT service from other service providor to Cognizant.

Understanding the design and architecture of particular application.
One of the big challenge was we needed to deal with different technologies specific applications hence to understand different technologies became must.
As complete IT transformation means needed to deal with Infra topics also, which gave really big challenge.

o At the same time was responsible for the timely communication to customer on the progress of the migrations and present the progress report to customer.
o Transition was also important part of the project with migration. Both we needed to drive hand in hand.
o Design the transition plan and get knowledge and Business functionality of the application with the help team.
o Review and approve the SAD documents and Runbooks internal as well as from customer.
o Handover the project to BAU team.
