• Hands on experience in installation, configuration, supporting and managing Hadoop Clusters using Apache, CLOUDERA & Hortonworks distributions.
• Responsible for cluster maintenance, adding and removing cluster nodes, cluster monitoring and troubleshooting, manage and review data backups, manage and review Hadoop log files.
• Experience in using Hive, Scoop,Cloudera Manager & Ambari.
• Handled importing of data from various data sources, performed transformations using Hive, MapReduce, loaded data into HDFS and Extracted the data from database into HDFS using Sqoop.
• Strong knowledge on Hadoop HDFS architecture and Map-Reduce framework.
• Good Knowledge on capacity planning for the Hadoop cluster in production.
• Experience in administering the Linux systems to deploy Hadoop cluster and monitoring the cluster using Cloudera Manager.
• Experience in performing minor and major upgrades.
• Upgrading the Hadoop Cluster and setup High Availability Cluster.
• Renewing the SSL for Ambari Server & Ranger.
• Integrating the Active directory with Kerberos via Ambari.
• Strong knowledge in configuring Name Node High Availability.
• Experience in importing and exporting data using Sqoop from HDFS to Relational Database Systems and vice-versa.
• Continuous monitoring and managing the Hadoop cluster through Cloudera Manager.
• Good Knowledge on Apache Kafka and Flume.
