Managing 4 separate legal entities (NL, FR, UK and DE) and one branch in DK including:
- Managing the monthly accounting close (US and local GAAP)
- Annual accounts and Statutory Reporting (US and local GAAP)
- Assistance in AOP, “budget to actual” variance analysis, Flash Reports, working capital and KPIs reporting
- Monthly submission of the EU consolidated and management accounts to Global Finance in Chicago
- Treasury management in liaison with Global Treasury in Dublin
- direct and indirect taxes filing (including local and EU VAT, ECSL, Intrastat, local statutory filing), monthly Transfer pricing/LRD adjustments in coordination with Global Tax in Sydney.
- Statistics and Regulatory reporting as required by the country specific statistics offices and other organizations.
- Assistance in internal and external audits
- Ensuring compliance with SOX requirements and internal controls (COSO framework)
- 6 direct reports in Amsterdam and 4 remote reports (local country accountants)
- Ad-hoc projects (Tax audits, LRD agreements, IP license fees, bonus scheme review, SAP implementation)
