I'm a freelance editor (en/de). Until now I primarily worked in scientific contexts (e.g. accompanied sociological book projects like: -Hyperlink entfernt-) but I am happy to get orders from other fields as well.

My motivation for doing what I do is and always has been the desire to try making a difference in the world. In my work, I hope to make a change for the better by having an impact on how future generations will live and experience our society.

I truly believe that taking on different perspectives and thinking outside the box is the key to many challenges we face today. When I decided to pursue a philological (academic) career, I was driven by the conviction that learning about different perspectives is the essence of learning foreign languages and diving deeper into other cultures. During my studies, I learned a lot about different languages, cultures, and people, but I also learned to question belief systems which have been taken for granted for years. Reading and writing texts has revealed itself to be a great way for me to not only reflect my own belief systems, but also get in touch with other people’s perspectives. As the etymological origin of the word text (<lat. woven) suggests, texts are like a woven network; they are the glue that binds society and the human race over time and space for they cannot be reduced to a specific location or point in time. In addition, I believe that texts and language are extremely powerful tools when it comes to dissolving those hardened belief systems, which make it difficult to evolve for the better.
As a freelance editor and research assistant, I am used to getting involved in different academic fields and looking at topics from various perspectives.
