Mercadona (the End-client), a family company, is one of the leading physical supermarket and online shopping companies in Spain. With 1632 stores across Spain, it uses SAP F&R to forecast and replenish the products in their stores from various Distribution Channels.
• I have been involved in the design and developments of various custom solutions that are required specifically for Mercadona.
• The developments were carried out in the areas of Scheduling and Order forecast and this includes inbound and out bound file processing.
• Developed various AMDPs (ABAP managed database procedures) to improve the performance of reports that were running slowly. By developing AMDPs the running time of the reports were reduced significantly.
• CDS Views with Authorization functionality where developed that allows querying of data based on User authorizations.
• Mass data processing reports where developed using Parallel processing functionality that allows the reports to run using multiple tasks.
• Created Reports that run as background jobs during the night which creates Schedule plans.

My responsibility:
• To assure that the developments and Issues that were raised where attended based on Priority. Responsible for maintenance and developments in FI/CO, MM, PP and SD modules. Gained insight knowledge of FI/CO module. To increasing the performance of all the critical reports. Providing support in ABAP/4; technical team leadership; coordination; documentation.
Key Developments:
• FI/CO: Carried out developments which includes Creditor / Debtor ageing, Daily Sales Outstanding, Debit Memo and Credit Memo, Payment Voucher printing.
• SD: Developed reports for Sales status, Pending orders and Open Sale Orders.
• Development are carried out using ABAP OO methodology where applicable.

LAPP INDIA is a 100% subsidiary of the LAPP GROUP manufacturing cables, connectors, cable glands, conduits and accessories.
Responsible for the following developments in MM, PP and SD modules and also gained a fair knowledge in those functional modules.
• Responsible for Setting up (ALE / EDI) to send IDOC’s of Purchase Orders to the vendors which would create Sales orders in their system.
• Configured ALE to upload Master data from Development Client to Production Client which includes Material Master, Customer Master, Vendor Master, Routing Master, BOM Master and Pricing Master.
• Developed various reports with the functionality of the output being sent as e-mail, Smart forms, Module pool programs, user exits etc.
• Used BAPI’s to change existing Sale Order Details and provided training for core team members on ABAP.

Nortel – Canada, Telecom Italia – Italy, Co-operative Bulk Handling - Australia.
• Analyzing and resolving the impact of the custom objects including Data Dictionary objects, Transactions, Reports, Function Groups and BDCs in the Development system.
• Analyzing the code for Unicode errors and making it Unicode compatible programs.
• Performing syntax and compliance check as a part of R/3 Upgrade and maintaining documentation for the modifications made according to standard templates.
• Analyzed the code with transactions Sql trace & code inspector.
• Technically redesigned ABAP reports that had a bad performance and increased it by 70% based on its processing time.
