Just finished long term program of which I was responsible for a Tier 1 automotive supplier in designing and developing Ford B car and Transit Gearshift controls for global program, as Global Program Manager in 3 global sites of Poland, China and India. Also managed BMW rear centre brake light as new supplier for BMW and RollsRoyce. These projects were from initial design all through development and then to manufacturing production. Established and controlled budget, supplier quality and had full total responsibility of the team and product. Main responsibility with Hands On activity was the APQP establishment and co-ordination, control and reporting. This was achieved first through an in-depth program timing establisment and control where I integrated APQP throughout the programs. Also reported weekly to customer Ford and BMW as well as managing the Cross Functional Team and their tasks.
Also finished two PPAP projects for ZF UK in establishing and successfully obtaining full PPAPs and PSWs for Volta Trucks and 8 and 9 speed JLR remanufactured gearboxes.
Short term contract employed as a Project Manager for glass In House Encapsulation production for total roof. Lead as Problem solving (PLT Leader) within the Polish production unit and implemented program management to integrate into the core company program management system.
Also working for a Chinese electrical motor company, SHB in Shanghai as the European Application Engineering and Customer Satisfaction manager for automotive seat motor products, directly to OEM and Tier 1 Customers in Europe.
Also have 8 years’ experience with Chinese automotive die mold toolmakers for plastic injection automotive parts. My role was as Project Manager, large volume capacity tooling to OEM and Tier 1, 2 and 3 suppliers. Spent a lot of time in Shenzhen and Hong Kong running and leading the project to ensure communication was perfect to enable the Chinese toolmaker and Customer received the exact specifications and requirements etc. that was requested.
Part of my studies was mechanical, electronics and software for automotive engineering.
Working as a Freelancer at the moment, am I am wanting a new challenge where I can use my knowledge and expertise in bringing a product and program to the best achievable results.
I have working experience with most OEMs and Tier1 manufacturers so I know what is expected and how to achieve their results and standards. I have current working experience with most automotive components within the automotive business, from initial specification request and quotation to development and PPAP.
I am specialized in leading large automotive projects through the complete life cycle phases.

• Automotive Engineer with experience in Chassis components systems and plastic injection, electrical automotive components.
• Over 20 years’ experience of program management and engineering launch processes in the automotive industry from OEM, Tiers 1, 2 and 3.
• Strong skills and experience in working in international teams. Last program was with Korean SL Corp. team working with Ford Customer engineering, design and development and China, India and Poland manufacturing. Also for BMW electrical.

• Knowledge of OEM quality initiatives, and supplier development. ISO internal auditor and experienced within the quality management field.
• Understanding and expert in APQP processes including FMEA, Control Plans, 8D, Timing Plans and PPAP
• Experience in Quality Management working for Joyson Safety System in preparing and presenting 8Ds etc. to Ford NA for F150 steering assistance products
• Good organizational skills
