Building the digital twin of the grid by creating a predictive maintenance platform for power quality gauges in the cloud

• Full-stack development in TypeScript, NodeJS, Java, C, Go, Microsoft SQL, Keras and Python
• Failsafe and clustered IoT/Cloud architecture using Kubernetes (powered by Microsoft Azure), LDAP, MQTT (with EMQ) and other tools

Achievements:

• More than 200 client devices in production after only 4 months of development
• Implemented algorithms that allow processing several months of millisecond sensor data (more than 150 gigabytes in the database) in less than 2 seconds
• Implemented a precise (98% accuracy) time series forecast (2 hours 17 minutes) leading to real-world applications in the energy sector
• Failsafe system which can update more than 200 multi-channel sensors every 0,5 seconds in a dashboard
• Real-time classification (demonstrated by the classification of a coffee machine in the cloud by only reading voltage data from a sensor in the same house)
• Less than 0.016% data loss
