OLI – License Optimization Framework is tool helping to optimize and manage SAP licenses. Additionally, it helps to easy daily administration tasks related to users and license maintenance.
- Tasks and main achievements in project:
- Designed and developed fast and small-resource consuming data extraction, analysis and synchronization mechanism for all available SAP systems starting from 4.7x family up to latest 7.x releases.
- Designed and developed tool to analyse user roles and profiles to identifying areas in which users are allowed to run transactions.
- Integrated OLI with SLAW and SLAW2.
- Analysed, designed and developed extractors helping to identify indirect access to SAP.
- Enhanced core functionality with simple extension framework helping to add new features into existing tool (e.g. support for HR license or indirect access).
