Target was to exploit and expand the capabilities of ngena Platform to host multiple SD-WAN technologies on a single platform
Lead the Product Management experts and Enterprise Architects to perform thorough analysis of SD-WAN vendors that brings immediate benefits in terms of market share, existing Platform capabilities and the potential of new business
Selected Fortinet as the first non-Cisco vendor
Framework agreements with Technology Partner Fortinet and its distributor Arrow
Identify the gaps in the Platform capabilities, human resources, and technology knowhow
Overseen the development of Platform capabilities in Order Management, Order Orchestration, Network Automation and Service Assurance areas

Platform Development Insourcing from Cisco & partners:

The target was to build an in-house development capability and make as independent as possible from Cisco and other vendors who used to develop for ngena for more than 6 years
Identified the gaps in Skills, Resources, Training, Certification, Licenses, Development Infrastructure and managed it within a short period to bring it under control
Implemented New Way of Working (NWoW) for the entire Product Development Life Cycle Management (PDLCM) as One-Team. As a result, delivered more services & features, increased release cycles​
Simplified the Product Development Processes, that increased the efficiency of Product Life Cycle Management​
Enabled ngena to steer & significantly contribute to entire Product Development Life Cycle Process, built needed capabilities & resources and enabled resources with Knowledge & Processes
While implementing the NWoW and insourcing, made sure that the current Product Development continuity – promised features released to customers in-time, with right quality
Moved 4 truckloads of lab equipment from Cisco lab to Equinix Data Center, managed to set up the entire lab in time and made it functional during the transition

• Performed a due diligence of the entire solution with as-is to-be landscape

• Identified potential SaaS vendors and implementation partners to provide component break up of a COTS solution matching each of the existing BSS/OSS components

Implementation of Resources Database (NERDS – ngena Enterprise Resource Data System) and Quotation Engine (Quicksizer):

The target was to provide an alternative application due to constant complains and dropping customer satisfaction with current BSS/OSS application
Came up with an out-of-the-box solution of providing a Quotation Engine (Quicksizer), that would sit outside BSS/OSS. To provide this, a structured resources database (NERDS) was needed, both of which integrates with BSS/OSS.
Prepared an implementation strategy, won over the stakeholders, and got necessary approvals
Created a team of external resources spread across different time zones (US, Germany, Macedonia) and got the applications implemented and launched to regain the customer confidence

Global Platform capability expansion with Meraki SD-WAN and WiFi:

Target was to expand the capabilities of ngena Platform to host Cisco’s another SD-WAN technology Meraki
Lead a team of experts to perform the technical analysis and identified the modules that requires changes to host Meraki SD-WAN
Lead the program which included the changes in Product Portfolio, Product Catalog, Commercials, Product Data Model, IT part of the Platform with integration to Cisco Meraki Cloud, Business Processes, Training Modules and Operational aspects
Achieved the capability expansion within specified cost, quality, and time
On boarded the 1st customer order on to the Platform at completion implementation successfully
