I have accumulated experience as a engineer in automotive industry at Delphi in Romania. Main activity was automotive wiring for the customer Volvo. Among the duties taken as an engineer are the following:
- updating wiring layout for the Master-board, Assembly-board and kit depending on customer demands.
- Load calculation of ultrasonic welding machines and vacuum testing machines on the production line.
- determining the need for new machines on the production line.
- define the method of packing (packing manual preparation) as ergonomic and considering the sequence of assembly in Volvo factory.
To meet the above duties i had a good collaboration with the departments of Quality, PFMA and other departments, for removal of all errors that might occur in the production process.
Of inventions and personal projects I would like to enumerate he following:
- air transport system for harness in the production line.
- containment and packing table and shipping container.
- 2 new forks for assembled board.
I attended to courses of cost reduction, and together with my project leader at the service center engineer we conducted a cost reduction of 8 million euro, costs reduced by removing the harness design mistakes on Volvo XC 90.
