Job description/Tasks
As part of the implementation of IT projects in the areas of ‘Market Development & Ancillary Services’ for the ‘Customers, Market & System’ department, as a Business Analyst you are responsible for the following tasks:
- Supporting the business in the design of new products or the development of existing products
- You identify and analyse business expectations, you model operational processes leading to the design or development of IT tools, you model the data linked to the process to be implemented.
- Based on business needs, you build and manage the product backlog, the associated schedule and priorities throughout the development process.
- Based on the business requirements, you write the document describing the detailed System Requirements for the solution.
- You validate the functional analysis provided by the IT department to ensure that the proposed solution fully meets the specifications.
- You write the test scenarios that the department runs throughout the implementation sprints in order to validate the developments made.
- You support the business in specifying and carrying out software validation tests (UATs).
- You train and help the business to use the tools optimally.


Profile requirements:
- You have initial project experience in AGILE-SCRUM methodology.
- You have project management skills.
- You have a perfect command of English and French or Dutch. And you have a good understanding of the second language.
- You have a degree in civil engineering, industrial engineering or commercial engineering. You have an interest in the field of energy.
- You have initial knowledge of gathering and analysing business requirements, including business process modelling and data modelling.
- You have knowledge of writing/validating functional specifications.
- You have good analytical and conceptual skills.
- You work autonomously and efficiently, you take initiatives and adopt solution-oriented thinking.
- You have a strong customer focus, flexibility, critical thinking and team spirit.
