Azure Solution architect (m/f/d)

We are looking for an Azure Solution Architect (m/f/d) for our energy client

Project description: The project's goal is to implement a Digital Evolution for the internal Digital Platform USE CASEs for all Asset Operational Sites Including Power Plants and Energy Storage locations.

The services shall be provided within the framework of an agile development method. Prior to each sprint meeting, the consultant shall independently check, on the basis of its professional expertise, which individual services are reasonable and feasible within the scope of the assignment in the respective sprint. The sprints each have a duration of 2 weeks, so that the sprint meetings take place at intervals of 2 weeks.

Tasks (independently performed):
- To understand the current client/project landscape and to create the definition and design for the solution architecture based on the current client/project landscape and on own professional expertise.
- To develop some of the most bleeding edge Digital / Cloud-based architectures in development today based on own experience and on the list of requirements regarding these architectures provided by the client in advance
- Identification of the Accelerators that can be introduced to steer with the implementation and adoption of the platform USE cases within the project and organization. Presentation of results to client for a sign-off before further use.
- Based on own experience and knowledge and on the information coming from internal project management, implementation of Cloud Architecture best practices and processes including steering the adoption by the development teams.
- To monitor and to maintain the Architecture processes throughout the lifecycle of the project in terms of accuracy, up-to-dateness and quality.
- Provision of professional technical consultation to the development teams regarding project progress and the architectures that are regarded in the project to enhance, document, found processes, improve coordination and increase the operational performance and security of systems.
- Based on own professional expertise and knowledge, provision of professional consultation to the wider Architecture community to identify and to develop new accelerators that can be introduced to new and existing projects.
- Clear appearance as an external consultant of client whenever interacting with external parties.

Skills:
- Experienced Azure Solution Architect
- Extensive experience around cloud based environments
- English and German
- Kubernetes skills as well as Terraform
- Experience on migrating bespoke applications to Enterprise scale landing zones that are IAC
controlled
