In my previous role at Superlayer, I engaged in NFT marketplace development. I used Next.js, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS to build a super user-friendly frontend for our NFT marketplace, focusing on smooth creation, minting, and listing of NFTs. Wallet integration (like MetaMask) handled user authentication and transaction signing. The dynamic gallery for browsing NFTs included filters and search options, and everything worked great on both desktop and mobile.
For the backend, Node.js and Express handled API requests, while Solidity-based smart contracts managed NFTs on Ethereum and other EVM-compatible blockchains. We built RESTful APIs for various NFT functionalities and used MongoDB for storing off-chain data.
Our blockchain integration involved deploying ERC721 and ERC-1155 contracts, and we developed features for listing Bitcoin ordinal inscriptions. We ensured cross-chain compatibility to handle assets from multiple blockchains.
Additional features included real-time NFT pricing in ETH and USD, active community engagement, and robust security practices, including smart contract audits. Collaboration with designers, developers, and project managers ensured seamless feature integration and platform scalability.
