Über mich
With several years of extensive experience as a simulation engineer, I have gained significant expertise in mechanical-structural FE simulations.
After three years of intensive work as an industrial Ph.D. student (Industriepromotion) at SIG Combibloc GmbH and the Institute of Textile Machinery and High-Performance Material Technology (ITM) at TU Dresden, I successfully obtained my doctoral degree in 2020. My primary focus during my doctoral studies was performing experimental setup for material characterization, mathematical modeling and FE simulation for composites and polymer materials. Over the past five years, as a simulation engineer at SIG Combiloc GmbH, I have been responsible for supporting the engineering and commercial teams, customers and collaboration partners for use-case simulation topics. This primarily entailed generating and performing finite element (FE) simulations to analyze and develop new concepts and technologies, pre-development evaluation aimed at enhancing the performance of our composite materials, as well as optimizing packaging tools and machinery.
Besides being highly relevant for the future development of engineering companies, my thorough practical and scientific expertise have enhanced my problem-solving and analytically thinking skills. Furthermore, as you can see from my resume, being involved in R&D projects at SIG Combibloc in addition to my previous project engineering experiences in several international projects, prove my ability to work successfully in your multinational working environment with excellent creative organization, teamwork and technical know-how.
