I planned the changes to the CRM backbone that allowed to deal with massive load peaks. (The CRM piece was only one of several in the chain, of course.) It was a tough short-term transformation program that required excellent planning, understanding of several technical and e-commerce domains and personal connection to the stakeholders that were exposed to great pressure. Flash sales like for Yeezy are part of the adidas branding strategy today, testament to the success of the change programme.
adidas Group: I was the architect designated to a migration project from Oracle RightNow (on premise) to Salesforce Service Cloud. The first migration project to a cloud provider at that point for CRM within adidas. The objective was rolling out Salesforce Service Cloud in 3 global regions and 6 direct to consumer contact center with estimated benefits of € 5 million for eCom operations. Required cross-functional collaboration. I led various project streams within this programme from an architecture side and found solutions for user management and authentication, data management questions that inevitably surfaced. After all, it was a new way of using adidas CRM and ERP systems. The success of this project was the corner stone for an even tighter business relationship between Salesforce and adidas as we are seeing today, for the benefit of the consumer experience.

Ich bin ein erfahrener, breit aufgestellter IT- bzw. Enterprise Architekt mit Führungserfahrung als auch Verantwortung für komplette (Teil-)Systemlandschaften, wie z. B. für den CRM-Bereich für adidas. Als Marketing Technology Profi kenne ich Sales, Service, Marketing in der Praxis als auch die Herausforderungen. Wie Systemintegration, Skalierbarkeit, IT Sicherheit. Nicht zuletzt Datenschutz und bestehende innerbetriebliche Prozesse. An meinen Aufgaben gewachsen habe ich eine tief verwurzelte Affinität zu Technologien wie Java oder NodeJS, Datenbanken, Schnittstellen aller Art, Cloud und lastverteilte Anwendungen.
