Solution Architect - Backup Technoliges (m/f/d)

For our customer in Bavaria, we search ASAP a Solution Architect - Backup Technologies (m/f/d) - remote possible


 


Your tasks:


- Consulting in terms crafting efficient IT disaster recovery and backup strategies, blueprints, and protocols to guarantee enduring safeguarding against data loss and prompt restoration in case of a catastrophe


- Expert advice regarding the optimal backup solutions, including all relevant standards, industry-leading practices, and other applicable guiding principles, while accounting for a worldwide hybrid cloud framework


- Consulting the the technical lead in all backup and restore topics, strategy decisions, local/ global demands and projects (including roll-outs) and technical discussions with vendors/ providers


- Stakeholder management (vendor, steerco members, program management)


- Manage the project risks


- Milestone- and time planning


- Budgeting during the running project


- Project documentation and presentation of the project progress


 


Your qualifications:


- Multiple years of experience in project management in IT infrastructure projects (ideally implementation of backup technologies)


- Experience with different backup and restore technologies of different e.g. VMware, SQL, Azure, SaaS, SAP


- Good knowledge in a variety of technologies in the respective area (Azure, Rubrik, IBM ISP), ideally supplemented by relevant certifications


- Ideally, you have a track record in designing modern infrastructure solutions and related hybrid cloud architectures in large global enterprises (industrial environment is a plus)


- Good knowledge in vendor management


- Good experience in stakeholder management


- Fluent English in word and writing
