Junior Backend Developer

I started to develop my software engineering skills by taking part in the Le Wagon Bootcamp, where I learnt the ecosystem around Ruby on Rails and JavaScript, also PostgreSQL, Git on Github, Heroku, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JS, AJAX.

I’m living in Germany since February of 2020 and worked for several years on Hotel`s Industry, did a career and it was not satisfying me anymore. After a long reflection, I finally decided that it was possible for me at this point of my life, to get into a new career about what is one of my passion, technology. On August of 2020, I did quit my job in a hotel in Hamburg to give me the chance to study deeply what about I want to do from now on in my professional way.

Join on the Le Wagon Bootcamp was one of my best decisions ever. I finally found what I was looking for, It’s about something that I love to study and learn more and more. After the Le Wagon`s experience, I keep studying and following the first target that is to learn something new on every single day and get ready for the challenges.

Considering the evolution since my dive into studying code and logic programming, I feel ready to join into a project. Being a team player and work in a progressive way following targets, was one of the best skills that I’ve developed during my career.

Personal Project Jan 2020 – Present
• Personal Blog, generated with Ruby on Rails, authentication with Devise, authorization with Pundit. Image host with Cloudinary, deployed through Heroku on the first sprint.
• Next sprint will include comments session on the posts, creation of content about the instructions and rules for the collaborators.

Le Wagon Bootcamp Final Project
• Social Media to connect people with rare diseases, making possible to change their experiences.
• Modelled DB Schema with the team. I developed all posts and comments pages, navbar, cards components with user’s authentication (devise set up for current users access), seeds, lay out and flow of main page.

• Market Place created to sell/change used kids items that its not usable anymore.
• Modelled the DB Schema with the team, I set up continuous integration with Heroku and
Cloudinary, search bar, as well as the products and comments pages.
